The CNPJ – Cadastro Nacional de Pessoa Jurídica (Brazilian acronym that means the registration of a legal entity) is not sufficient evidence to be legalized in Brazilian Federal Police. Therefore, it does not mean you can operate with armed or disarmed security, even working with the state or federal cops.To prevent itself of companies not legalized or pending with regulatory agencies, wou should verify, at least, the following documentation:
- security certificate (issued by the federal police department – DELESP/RJ);
- Review Annual Operating Permit (issued by the federal police department )
- Debt Clearance Certificate (issued by Ministry of Social Welfare, through the site www.mpas.gov.br)
- Certificate of Regularity with FGTS (Garantee Fund Service time – issued through the site www.caixa.com.br.
